A Prayer for the Horses and the People Who Love Them
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the incredible gift of the horse. Thank You for their strength and gentleness, for their companionship, for the healing they bring into our lives, and for the quiet ways they teach us about trust, patience, and love.
Lord, I thank You for allowing me to work with these amazing animals. Please continue to guide my hands, give me wisdom, patience, understanding, and a gentle heart so that the work I do may contribute to their comfort, health, and well-being. Never let me forget that this ability is a gift from You, and may all the glory always return to You.
Bless every horse that comes into my care. Keep them healthy, safe, strong, and at peace. Bless their owners, my clients, my friends, and the families who love and care for them. Give them wisdom to understand their horses, patience when things are difficult, and many years of beautiful companionship together.
And Lord, thank You for what these animals give us every day without asking for anything but our care and kindness in return. Thank You for the healing, love, trust, friendship, and joy You give us through them.
May I always serve them with humility, use the gifts You have given me faithfully, and remember that You are the One who gives the growth.
All glory belongs to You, Lord.
